Tree Walk: Befriending the Forest

You are invited to join us for a meandering walk through the forest at Common Ground to connect with the trees. Early spring is a unique season to learn how to identify trees. We aren't experts in the matter, but we are curious to learn alongside you. This is a communal skill sharing event.

About the Program

Join us for a gentle stroll in the woods as we explore the different ways to identify trees in winter and early spring.

Every season offers unique insights about the landscape. Identifying trees in winter is different than in summer. It is much easier to see the shape and branching patterns of trees while they are naked. We aren't experts on the matter, but this is an area of interest of ours and are curious to learn alongside you.

Consider this a communal skill sharing event where we each bring our questions, share our observations and intuitions and see what we learn together!
